Using your macros with XLplus offers several advantages.
The most significant advantage is that you will find all of your tools at a single place. Additionally, you do not have to work with programming the MS Excel Ribbon. This is not that complicated but the start often turns out to be more difficult than feared. Finally, XLplus offers a simple deployment of yout tools.
Being a part time programer you will benefit from the easy integration of your tools into the XLplus menu. You can concentrate on the creation of your tools and do not have to program the management of your tools. However, you do not have to give up a structured presentation of your tools - you order and structure your tools by suitable menu options. These can be created within the XLplus menu with just a few settings.
So-called super-user of a company are often dedicated and experienced experts of MS Excel, who do not have time to wait for professional help for required solutions of business problems. The support offered by XLplus helps super-users to provide their quick and fitting solutions to colleagues and co-workers. To that just the created Add-In has to be provided (i.e. by saving it on a network share) and colleagues can install it conveniently using the XLplus installation function.
Being external solution provider you can base your solutions on XLplus - you write your tool and deployment takes place by XLplus.
As Administrator you can provide tools for your staff at central places. Afterwards, tools of interest can be installed by single employees their own. Alternatively, you can provide pre-configured versions of XLplus and deploy these by using Active Directory and group policies.
Structuring Tools
You can structure your tools by menu groups.
Those menus can be created like the XLplus Add-On menus (File, Edit, Format, etc.) or by functional units (i.e. Bookkeeping, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, etc.). Of course you can define different menus, i.e. by Excel functionality like "Work with Selections", "Styles", etc.

For companies structuring by functional units seems to be most appropriate.
Doing so you can collect all tools for a functional unit or department at a central place and advise your employees to install desired tools from this location. Your staff only has to install the tools really required. This requires, that you will split your tools in single Add-Ins. The bookkeeping department now can study all given Add-Ins by the description provided within the single tool and install the required ones. The Logistics department on the other hand will investigate all tools for its area and will install all wanted Add-Ins.
Communicating new Tools
As Author or Administrator you can inform your colleagues about new versions by Email. Your colleagues will identify potential new updates by using the XLplus Add-On Manager and might install the update.
As Administrator you might prefer to offer new versions using the MS Sharepoint Server.
Solution Provider
Solution Provider can configure MS Excel Add-Ins for use with XLplus and benefit from an automated as well as convenient installation of their tool.
Macro Security
During installation XLplus distinguishes between XLplus Add-Ons and foreign Add-Ins. Foreign Add-Ins will always be marked as such. Solution Provider, but other Authors, too, can protect their macros with digital certificates and therewith increase security for a users PC.
