Customize Smart Numbers
This tool offers an option to define a set of number styles. These styles then can be selected from a list to be applied to the actual selection of cells. To do this, run Load Smart Numbers first.
To apply one of these styles select the Smart Numbers Icon. (For help about this Icon see XLplus Icons)
This tool allows a fast way to your most required number styles. It is also useful if you often have to use Custom Number Formats.
By default, the tool will offer the option to indent the content of every cell by 1character and various common Number Formats (i.e. Numbers with 2 decimal places, Percentages or Currencies). Run Customize Smart Numbers to setup other Formats or to delete given Formats.
Add:
Choose ADD to add a new Format to the list of the available Number Formats.
The tool will query if a description for the format has been entered. If not, the tool will suggest the Format itself as a description.
To specify the Format to ADD, you first have to run Format.
Format:
Run this to select a Number Format from the given Build In Dialog "Number Formats" or to specify a Custom Number Format. Once this is done, run ADD to add it to the list of the available Smart Numbers.
Format will create a new (temporary) workbook and afterwards display the Build In Dialog to select Number Formats.
Choose the required Format and press OK to close the dialog. The chosen Format will be applied to cell A1 of the temporary workbook to give you a preview. The chosen Format will be shown in the Customise Smart Numbers dialog as well. Enter a description of the Format in the given textbox and run ADD to add this Format to the list.
Delete:
Run Delete to remove a Format from the List of all available Formats. If no item has been selected the macro will give a warning message.
Save:
After you have prepared your list of Smart Numbers, run this to save your settings permanently. Your settings will be available the next time XLplus is started.

Close:
Run this to Close the dialog.
Note: In case you have not saved your settings yet they will be lost the next time you start XLplus. You can save your settings at a later time (as long as XLplus is still open) by running Customize Smart Numbers - Save.
Up / Down Arrows:
Use these icons to move the selected Format to a higher / lower position in the list.
