XLplus Add-On: Set Zoomfactor of Worksheets

Use Set Zoomfactor of Worksheets to conveniently set the zoom factor of any number of sheets or charts of a given workbook.

Tip: Use the lower right corner of the Dialog in order to resize it.

In case you are working with different PC´ s, i.e. at home and work, having different screen resolutions set, setting a bunch of sheets or charts to a specified zoom factor might ease up your work. For example, I am using a PC at work having a screen resolution of 1200x1024 and a machine at home having a resolution of 1600x1200 - whenever reworking charts in the office I created at home, I had to resize them (from 160% to 130% to get best fit). My coworkers often even use a smaller screen resolution - so they generally had to reduce the zoom factor to 100%. Working with two or three charts is not a problem, but having to zoom more than 5 sheets starts to become work. This tool easily sets all specified sheets or charts to a zoom factor everybody could work with.

Select the workbook to set a zoomfactor to its sheets or charts. Next a list of all visible sheets or charts is displayed. Use [Ctrl] to select non-contigeous list entries, use [Shift] to select contigeous entries. Click on the column header in order to sort the list of sheets or chart s. Click again to reverse the sort order.

Next, select or enter a zoom factor to apply to sheets or charts. A zoom factor can be within the range of 10% to 400%.

Finally apply the selected factor to the selected sheets or charts.
