XLplus Add-On: View Special Cells
This tool helps to identify all cells of the active worksheet having specific attributes, i.e. containing a Conditional Format or an erreneous function.
Specify which kind of information you want to retrieve:
- Conditional Format - this selects all cells having a conditional format applied to
- Validation - this selects all cells having a validation rule applied to
- no content - this selects all empty cells of the used range
- comments - this selects all cells having a comment applied to
- Constants - this selects all cells having a constant value
- Formula - this selects all cells containing a formula
Using Constants and Formula allows to further specify the information to retrieve. You can select:
- Errors
- Logical
- Numbers
- Text

Use Constants + Errors to identify all cells where an erreneous formula was pasted as value.
Use Formula + Logical to identify all formulas performing logical operations, i.e. A1>A2 or =ISEMPTY(A1).
Use Validation to get all cells performing a validation rule.

Note: The dialog remains open as long as you require it. Choose Cancel to close it once your work is done.
