XLplus Add-On: CopyMultiAreas

This XLplus Add-On supports you in copying non-contigeous cells ranges.

Using this, you can copy data areas, which exist in separated cells,into a new location of the same or a different worksheet.

Hint: This functionality is not included in MS Excel by default.

Select the Workbook, where to paste copied data:

You can select a Workbook from the list of all Workbooks, which shall retrieve the data. By default, data will be pasted into the active Workbook.

Select a Worksheet:

By default, the active Worksheet of the active Workbook is suggested. After you chose a Workbook, its Worksheets are suggested. Afterwards select the Workseet, where to paste copied data.

Select the cell, where to paste data:

By default, the first cell of the Workbook is suggested (A1). Choose your target cell by using the RefEdit Control Element.

Hint: You can choose a different Worksheet using the RefEdit Control Element than specified, but this Worksheet will not used. The Tool uses your selection of cells for the specified Worksheet and ignores any Worksheetname specified within the Ref Edit Control Element.

Hint: In case the target area contains any data, you will be requested to confirm overwritting of data.

Ex.:

Range "A3:A7", "C3,C5,C7:C8" and "C10:C12" shall be copied to Workbook"Book1", Worksheet "Sheet1", Cell "A1".

Choose Workbook and -sheet to paste data in. Afterwards select your target cell. After confirming your settings with ´OK´, all cells will be copied as specified.
