XLplus Add-On: Copy + Paste Without Empty Ranges
This XLplus Add-On supports you to copy cell ranges without pasting empty rows or columns.
Using this, you can aggregate data areas which are divided by empty rows or columns.
Select the cells to copy from:
You see the selected cells of the active Worksheet. To change the selection, activate the corresponding RefEdit Control Element. Afterwards, select the range to copy.
Tip: You can alternatively enter the range via the keyboard. Make sure to enter a correct range of cells.
In case the range of cells is not a valid range object (i.e. A1:Z50, $A$1:$Z$50), a warning is shown. You have to enter a valid range of cells. The easiest way doing this is using the RefEdit Control Element followed by selection of the range.
Select the workbook, to paste data into:
You can select one of the workbooks from the list of all open workbooks, which shall retrieve data. By default, data will be inserted into the active workbook. The default selection of the Target Cell asures that data is never overwritten.
Select the cell to paste into:
By default, a cell within the first column is suggested, which is 5 rows below the last row filled. This selection asures that data is never overwritten
Select whether to skip empty rows or columns:
In case your data contains empty rows, choose rows. This prevents empty rows from being pasted. Alternatively, you can prevent pasting empty columns.
