XLplus Add-On: Brut - Net Calculator

This Tool is for all of us who cannot remember the functions to calculate either the brut or net value by a given value and tax rate. You can either return the result within a spreadsheet or on screen.

Given Value

Specify either a value to use or a cell reference, which contains your value or function to use as input value.

Calculate

Specify if to calculate the Brut or Net value.

Tax Rate

Select the Tax Rate to use, i.e. in Germany the general VAT is 16%; for certain goods or services it is 7%. Choose the applicable value for your country. If none is available, simply enter the required one.

Return Result

Choose where to show the result - you can display it on screen or write it into a cell.

Return Result As

Choose whether the result is written back as function or value. In case results are reported to screen, they can only be returned as value.
